Tegaderm™IV Dressing for Nexiva™9525HP is specifically designed for the Becton-Dickenson (BD) Nexiva™Closed IV Catheter System.
Transparency allows monitoring of I.V. sites without the need to remove the dressing.
Breathable film allows moisture vapor and oxygen exchange.
Notched designs provide a better seal around the catheter.
Waterproof dressing provides a breathable bacterial and viral barrier{1} to outside contaminants and allows the patient to shower.
Picture-frame style allows one-handed application and less waste. {1} - (ital)in vitro(/ital) testing has proven Tegaderm™and Tegaderm™HP dressings provide a viral barrier from viruses 27 nm in diameter, (e.g. HCV) or larger (e.g. HBV and HIV) while the dressing remains intact without leakage.
